Just when I got everyone excited about the loops being installed yesterday and today the company cutting the loops had an emergency today that prevented them from completing the entrance drive of the main gate and the safety loop at the Katie Gate. I’m being told that they will be in HG to cut the remaining loops on Thursday or Friday this week. Click Full Story for more information.

IMPORTANT: Loop cutting for the street sensors at the main exit gate began today. The main exit gate will be closed today until approximately 8PM tonight to allow the sealing material to cure. We are using the main entrance gate as an entrance/exit gate for the balance of the day. Please be careful entering and exiting through the main gate today. Click Full Story for more information.

Both the main entrance and exit gates have been hung on the new posts (see picture). There are gaps on both sides (see picture) that will be filled in. Next to be installed are the operators which will allow the main exit gate to be operational again. New signage has also been installed (see picture) on the exit side to warn drivers that the EXIT GATE OPENS INWARD towards your vehicle. After the gates are completed, a line will be painted across the roadway saying “STOP HERE.” Until then please be aware of the gates opening toward your vehicle.

To date 160 residents of HG have completed the Homeowners Information Form and received their new remotes. That’s 80% completed since we started 2 weeks ago. Well done neighbors! Nearly everyone else is in the process of filling out the form. Click Full Story for more information.

All the equipment for replacing/upgrading the front gates and controllers at all 4 gates is now in and available for installation which per the gate company will begin on Tuesday Sept 13th. On Friday Sept 9th I am receiving the new remotes that will need to be distributed to each household prior to the gates being operational.
